Atwine Ambrose, a 39-year-old Ugandan, is currently an employee of China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd. Uganda Branch, working as a Project Foreign Affairs Assistant on the Design and Build of Masindi-Biiso, Kabaale-Kizirafumbi, Hohwa-Nyairongo-Kyarusheha-Butole Road Upgrading Project in Uganda.
Since joining China Railway Seventh Group in 2018, Atwine Ambrose has been working at the frontline of the project. He assists Chinese colleagues in handling project-related foreign affairs. As a Ugandan employee, he is able to empathize with the company’s needs and provide various suggestions and opinions from a Ugandan perspective. During his seven years of working with China Railway Seventh Engineering Group, he has helped the company establish sound relations with government departments in the project location. He has also organized and participated in multiple cross-cultural exchange activities such as “Safety into Schools” and “Safety into Communities” hosted by the Uganda Branch, contributing his efforts to the localized advancement of China Railway Seventh Engineering Group.

Title:China and Uganda Jointly Celebrate Milestone in Kikuube’s Development
Introduction:
In December 2024, China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd., as a cooperative partner of the Ugandan government, was invited to attend the ceremony marking the 5th anniversary of the establishment of Uganda’s Kikuube District and the inauguration of its newly-built office building. During the event, Ugandan Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja awarded a special certificate of appreciation to China Railway Seventh Engineering Group. The Chinese representative presented a traditional Chinese calligraphic work to the Kikuube District Government, conveying gratitude and best wishes to the Ugandan government.
