The article explores the problem of fake news and the problem journalists face in Africa when reporting China. The dominance of western based media platforms makes it possible for several fake news about China to propagate in Africa. The article examines some of the popular fake news and how the BRNN collaboration can help to report news objectively and truthfully using personal examples by the writer.

The article draws attention to the problem of fake news and how western media is trying to dictate and control the narrative about China in Africa.
