The article was published on the anniversary of ten years of Belt and Road Initiative. It features two young Ugandans who formed a family having been united by a BRI Karuma hydropower project. It shows how BRI is not only connecting nations but also people with in the same country. The article debunks lies against China-Africa cooperation and shaping how young Africans view this flourishing friendship. A friendship that builds strong nations, strong communities and strong families for a shared future. Today, Karuma is commissioned and Blessings got another Job in another reputable company.

The article talks about 10 years of Belt and Road and its immense contribution to the development of developing countries in Africa. Using Uganda my country as a cae, The article was able to reach millions of Africans who had believed western false narratives that BRI is a trap. It showed young Africans how a BRI project resulted into nationwide benefit but at the same be a solid foundation for a strong young family in Uganda.
